Godot is an open source game engine. I first encountered it in 2018, collaborating with a friend. I really like the engine. For me, learning Godot was easier when I started thinking of it as similar to learning the ins and outs of web browser APIs - There are lots of corners and details to figure out, and it will simply take time to get familiar.

Using Godot with Emacs

To add emacs as an external editor, add these values to Editor Settings > Text Editor > External: And replace the path with your emacs path.

Exec Path:  /usr/local/bin/emacsclient
Exec Flags: -n -a /usr/local/Cellar/emacs-plus@28/28.0.50/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs {file}
