My mind has been somewhat stuck in a meta-loop these days. In my spare moments I'm finding myself back in the familiar groove of wondering about thinking about things. Usually, I'm caught up thinking about what I want to do in a sort of Platonic ideal state (ex: "Creative Project A") and how other supposedly inferior acts ("Somewhat Less Creative and Less Terrifying Project B") are standing in for the truly terrifying work.

The act of becoming ourselves is truly one of the most trialsom and yet fulfilling endeavours.

This week is one for bullet-points:

• I made it out to a cyclecross race, first one.
• Eased off a bit on the self-hosting home server stuff, although now things are starting to take shape.
• I'd like to learn more about nixOS; I might rent a Hetzner box to play with it.
• I picked up drawing in a pocket sketchbook again. It feels good to be back at it: it is acting, not thinking.
